Getting a celebrity to show up at your event or endorse your product sounds simple enough on paper. Call an agent, sign a contract, done. In reality, the part that actually determines whether it works for your brand happens before any of that, picking the right celebrity in the first place, and managing everything around them properly once they’re on board. A mismatched endorsement can do more damage than good, and a poorly coordinated event appearance can leave your brand looking disorganised in front of the exact audience you were trying to impress.
That’s really the gap iCommunications fills. We’ve handled celebrity management projects for clients across India, and we work with brands in Bangalore the same way we’d work with anyone else, by understanding what you actually need from the partnership before we start making calls.
Brand Endorsements
This is the one everyone thinks of first, and it's also the one people get wrong most often. The right celebrity for your brand isn't necessarily the biggest name available. It's someone whose audience and image actually line up with what you're selling. We spend time on this matching process rather than just handing you a list of available names.
Event Appearances & Hosting
If you're bringing a celebrity to a launch, conference, or media event, the logistics matter as much as the appearance itself. Timing, security, media coordination, green room arrangements, all of it needs to run smoothly, because a celebrity showing up late or a chaotic press scrum undoes a lot of the goodwill you were hoping to build.
Social Media Campaigns
A celebrity's reach on Instagram or elsewhere is only useful if the campaign around it is planned properly. We work on the strategy, the execution, and keep an eye on how the campaign is actually performing, rather than just posting once and hoping for the best.
Public Relations & Media Relations
When a celebrity is representing your brand, their media interactions become part of your brand's story too. We manage press releases, interviews, and media touchpoints so the celebrity partnership stays positive and on-message.
Personal Branding
This one goes the other way. We also work with celebrities and public figures directly, helping them think through their own positioning and public image, which in turn makes them better long-term partners for the brands they work with.
Here’s one thing we have learnt over the years: a celebrity pairing that appears good in theory can be a dud if they didn’t do a little thinking about the fit. It’s not uncommon for a luxury brand to go with a celebrity, or a family product with a celebrity whose public persona doesn’t align with the family.
We try to slow that part down. Before we bring any name to the table, we look at who that person’s audience actually is, how their public image has trended over the past year or two, and whether their values genuinely overlap with your brand’s. It’s a less flashy part of the job, but it’s the part that decides whether the whole thing works.
A lot of the businesses we’d work with in Bangalore are tech companies, D2C consumer brands, or startups looking to build visibility quickly. Celebrity association is often used here as a fast way to build brand credibility, but that only works if the celebrity’s audience actually resembles the customer base the brand is trying to reach. A tech-savvy product endorsed by someone with a completely different, non-tech audience tends to generate attention without generating actual customers. This is exactly the kind of mismatch we try to catch before it becomes an expensive mistake.
Many celebrity management agencies see each project as a one-off and book the celebrity, run the project, and move on. We’d prefer to create something that lasts more than one event, or one ad cycle. When a brand and a celebrity seem to be aligned and it makes sense for them to work together, it’s actually worth continuing the relationship over time rather than beginning with a new celebrity every quarter.
That is, we’re not just in the game for the initial handshake but for the contract negotiations, the constant media coordination, back and forth of the day-to-days that keep the partnership going rather than just going sour after the first event.
If you’re thinking about bringing a celebrity or public figure into your next campaign, event, or endorsement deal in Bangalore, we’d rather have an honest conversation about fit before anyone signs anything. That’s usually where the real value gets decided anyway.

We look at audience overlap, public image, and whether the celebrity’s values genuinely align with the brand, rather than just going with whoever has the biggest following.
Both. We help celebrities and public figures with their own personal branding and positioning, alongside managing brand-side endorsements and campaigns.
Yes. We handle logistics, media coordination, and on-ground management for event appearances, not just the initial contract.
Yes, we regularly work with tech companies and consumer brands looking to build credibility through celebrity association, and we focus on making sure the audience match is genuine, not just a name for visibility’s sake.
